Saturday at 12:00 PM

A gifted and gorgeous actress, Golden Globe Award-winner Linda Evans dazzled audiences with her debut appearance on “The Big Valley” as Audra, the daughter of Victoria Barkley, played by Barbara Stanwyck, who became a nurturing figure in her life and acting career. She starred with leading men including Richard Burton, Steve McQueen, George Peppard, Lee Marvin, Robert Shaw, and of course John Forsythe — in the TV megahit “Dynasty.”

Linda has enjoyed an enviable career living and playing among Hollywood’s royalty. In her memoir “Recipes for Life” Linda warmly and candidly shares her inspiring life story, from the loss of her dad when she was 15 and family struggles to make ends meet to ending up dining with kings, queens, and presidents, to the heartbreak behind her high-profile romances, her spiritual journey toward empowerment and peace, and her lifelong love of cooking delectable foods.

Linda recounts the behind-the-scenes reality of her epic catfight scenes with Joan Collins while playing Krystle Carrington on “Dynasty”; her long friendship with the three other ex-wives of John Derek — including Bo Derek, who was a teen when John fell for her and left Linda; her winning appearance on the British TV reality show, “Hell’s Kitchen,” working under Michelin-starred chef Marco Pierre White; how she ended up behind the camera, shooting Evel Kneivel’s famous daredevil jump at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas; the drive with her lively friend Bunky that landed her in jail, and much more. She relates meaningful moments of her inner experience, as well — how she learned to take the pressure of performance and turn it into excitement, reached for and claimed independence, and found a deeply enriching lifestyle in Washington State.

Linda’s remarkable life and career provide an inspirational backdrop to her Keynote Address taking place on Saturday at 12:00.

Immediately following her Keynote Address, Linda Evans will conduct a Book Signing of “Recipes for Life” an insight into the world of beloved actress and gourmet-caliber cook with stories behind the so-called scandals and scrumptious steaks, salads, soups, and more — deliciously!
